This summer, we had scheduled an EPIC road trip, from our home in California to Quebec. We had a date to collect a new travel trailer, and a plan to spend the rest of the summer visiting National Parks on our way back home. Of course, now Canada is closed to us, and camping conditions vary widely from state to state, and our trailer hasn’t even been built yet. We needed a new plan.

So we’re focusing on the beautiful places close to home.   We live in a spectacular corner of the world, California’s Bay Area, and there are so many parks and open spaces we don’t know nearly well enough.   Join our family as we explore our own backyard.
